Book Review, “In Times Gone By,” Tracie Peterson author

In Times Gone By cover

In Times Gone By, by Tracie Peterson, is the third book in the Golden Gate Secrets series.  It follows In Places Hidden and In Dreams Forgotten. This book tells the story of the third of the three friends: Camri, Judith, and Kenzie.

Kenzie Gifford is extremely worried about Dr. Micah Fisher. In the days since the great earthquake in San Francisco, no one has heard from him. When he turns up safe and healthy, she is overcome with emotion.  His sudden proposal throws her off guard. When her former fiancé arrives suddenly, claiming that his family tricked them both into breaking up their wedding, she is more confused than ever.  As she comes to the conclusion that she loves Micah and never loved Arthur, Arthur has Micah kidnapped. Kenzie knows immediately who is responsible for Micah’s disappearance, and decides to play Arthur’s game long enough to find him.

I loved this book. The entire series is definitely a must read. I especially like the bond formed between the three friends. Everyone should have such friends!

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian historical fiction.

I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
