Book Review, “In Places Hidden,” Tracie Peterson author

In Places Hidden cover

In Places Hidden, written by Tracie Peterson and published by Bethany House publishers, is the first book in the Golden Gate Secrets series. It tells the story of a woman’s search for her missing brother.

Camrianne Coulter is certain that something is very wrong when three months go by without any word from her brother, Caleb, so she boards a train to San Francisco to find out why he has not written. Finding that no one seems to know where he is or what has happened to him, Camri begins a search which leads her to Patrick Murdock. Patrick is an Irish contractor and is unshakably loyal to Caleb. Camri finds herself left with no choice but to team up with Patrick in order to solve the mystery. But as they draw closer to the truth, they find themselves in more danger than they had anticipated.

I enjoyed this book. The characters are well-developed, and I found myself relating to them in many ways. I especially liked Patrick’s down to earth ways and Irish mannerisms.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian historical fiction.

I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
