Book Review, “A Minute of Vision for Men,” Roger Patterson author

A Minute of Vision for Men, by Roger Patterson, is a devotional with “365 Motivational Moments To Kick-Start Your Day.” It is designed to “engage you in a daily thought from Scripture that should take just about a minute.” Also a pastor, the author presents this book for busy men as a starting point for spiritual growth or as a supplement to the current system.

These devotions include a short reading and a short Bible verse for each day of the year. They are drawn from sports headlines, from Scripture, and from the author’s experiences with his own family. It is designed to help men who are successful in other areas of their lives, but are not sure how to go about spiritual growth. Some of the daily titles include: Run Another Play, Dirty Delly, Timing is Everything, The Voice of Pain, Put it in the Rearview Mirror, and the Legacy of the Father.

This devotional would be a wonderful gift for any husband or father. It is well-written and presents short messages that will not consume much of a busy man’s day.

I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
