Book Review, “NKJV Word Study Bible,” Thomas Nelson publisher

The NKJV Word Study Bible, published by Thomas Nelson, is an incredible Bible. It is designed to assist the serious Bible student into discovering a deeper meaning of the scriptures. Written simply, no previous knowledge of foreign languages is required to use this Bible effectively.

This hard back Bible is written in the New King James Version. There are 1,700 Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek word studies, as well as thousands of cross references to word studies. For example, in Psalm 49:10, this Bible explains that the word fool means “stupid, silly, and lazy” and lists several other verses where the word is used. Each book contains an introduction with background information. There are translators’ footnotes, in-text subheadings, and the Words of Jesus are in red. At the back of the Bible the reader will find a concordance, full-color maps, and indexes by English word, Strong’s number, and book by book.

I would recommend this Bible to anyone interested in searching more deeply into the true meaning of God’s Word.

I received this Bible free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
