Book Review, “Chronological Study Bible,” Thomas Nelson publishers

imageThe NKJV Chronological Study Bible, published by Thomas Nelson, is a marvelous version of God’s Word. It places the events of the Bible in the actual order that they occurred, which helps to understand that which is studied.

The NKJV is very much like the KJV, but it’s text is written in more modern terms, making it easier for us to understand today. This is also helpful when witnessing to others. In addition, the Daily Life Notes describe how people lived in Bible times, which greatly aids our comprehension of the Bible stories.

I especially appreciate the many extra tools provided in this Bible. The full-color illustrations, the Scripture Passage Index, the Topical Index & Glossary, the Transition Comments, the Time Panels and Charts, and the color maps are very informative. I also liked the one and two-year Bible reading plans. This amazing Bible would be a wonderful study tool for any serious Bible student.

I would recommend this Bible to anyone interested in furthering their Bible knowledge.

I received this Bible free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
