Book Review, “Wild About the Bible,” Zonderkidz publishers

Wild About the Bible cover.jpgThe Wild About the Bible Sticker and Activity Book, published by Zonderkidz, features classic art from the Adventure Bible I Can Read stories. David Miles’ illustrations are beautifully done within this book.

This activity book includes fifty reusable stickers to use on the pages within. Activities include mazes, secret codes, coloring pages, crossword puzzles, complete the pictures, word finds, connect the dots, find the differences, and word scrambles, all with Biblical themes. There are also pages that require the child to find the correct sticker to complete the picture. The pages are thick and sturdy, ready to hold up for energetic children.

This is a wonderful book. The amazing illustrations draw one’s eyes and bring the Bible to life.  I especially appreciated the wide variety of activities, allowing for different preferences and interests. The reusable stickers are very practical for young children. I like the fact that they can be moved if stuck in the wrong places or accidentally put down in an unintended way.

I would recommend this book for early elementary age children who enjoy Bible stories.

I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
