Wonders of Creation: Illustrations to Color and Inspire, illustrated by Cindy Wilde and Pimlada Phuapradit is a wonderful book. Each person is encouraged to “capture some of the wonders of creation” for himself.
This book is beautifully illustrated with pictures of the many animals that God has designed. The beginning of the book points out that there are “about 5,400 types of mammals, over 10,000 kinds of birds, and over 900,000 known insect species” in the world. The book contains many pages of black and white illustrations with extremely intricate designs. One can focus on minute details within each picture. The pages are thick enough to allow for the use of markers, coloring pens, colored pencils, or crayons to complete each page.
I enjoyed this book. It is designed to help one relax while using it. It encourages the use of one’s imagination. I appreciate the fact that there is no right or wrong way to complete each page. I especially liked the pages with the peacock and the walrus.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a creative way to express himself and relax.
I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
