Murder Tightly Knit: An Amish Village Mystery, by Vannetta Chapman, is the second book the Amish Village Mystery Series. Many characters from the first book return to solve another murder mystery the second time around.
Amber and Tate Bowman, Hannah Troyer, and Jesse Miller find themselves caught up in the investigation of Owen Esch’s death on the Pumpkinvine Trail. With their friend Mary, who manages the Cat’s Meow yarn shop, missing and Jesse’s brother, Andrew, arrested as a suspect, the friends find themselves following leads in spite of police warnings that they have everything under control. As the clues begin to come together, the danger level rises. Both Amish Village friends and the police want answers.
I enjoyed this book as much as the first one in the series. It was well-written and held my attention until the very end. I especially like the faith present in so many of the characters, as well as the respect for the local authorities. The characters seem very realistic are reflective of many real people in society.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Amish Fiction or a good murder mystery.
I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
