Noah, by Mark Ludy, is a wordless picture book published by Plough Publishing House. Ludy, who now lives in Colorado with his wife and family, has been drawing from an early age, developing the immense skill found within this book.
The pictures found within this book reveal beautiful, picturesque drawings that reveal Noah’s story from the Bible in a charming, scenic manner. People of any age could understand the story, even without words, from the exquisite artwork on these pages.
The animals, especially, are very well drawn.
I enjoyed this book. I found that it tells the story of Noah fairly accurately, but I was not sure all of the details included are historically accurate. Also, the part of the story that involves sending out the raven before the dove is unclear. Even so, I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a well-illustrated portrayal of this story.
I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
