Book Review, “The Rhyme Bible Storybook for Toddlers,” Linda Sattgast author

the rhyme bible coverThe Rhyme Bible Storybook for Toddlers, published by Zonderkidz, is delightful.  As noted in the title, the stories are written in poetical form.  Author Linda Sattgast has done a fantastic job of simplifying these ten stories for young children with rhyming words that they will remember.  There are stories from both the Old and New Testaments, such as “God Made Everything,” “The Floating Zoo,” “Baby in a Boat,” “Who Saw Jesus?,” and “ A Tasty Lunch.”

This Bible is a sturdy board book with a padded cover, suitable for little ones to carry and turn the pages without damaging the book.  Laurence Cleyet-Merle has provided the adorable illustrations, also in a simple fashion for youngsters.  There is no title page.  The stories begin on the very first page and continue to the very last.

I enjoyed this children’s Bible very much.  I would recommend it as a great gift for a child or grandchild.

I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
