Book Review, “Rosemary Cottage,” Colleen Coble author

Rosemay Cottage coverRosemary Cottage, a Hope Beach Novel, by Colleen Coble, is a great mystery!  From the very beginning, the story holds your attention and makes you reluctant to put it down.

Since her brother’s accidental death while surfing, Rosemary Cottage belongs solely to Amy Lang.  But Amy isn’t convinced that Ben’s death was an accident, and is determined to unearth the truth.  As she attempts to begin this process, she finds her path joined with that of Curtis Ireland, a Coast Guard officer raising his one-year-old niece, whose birth certificate names Ben as the father.  As Amy and Curtis investigate the deaths of their siblings, they find themselves in a dangerous situation.  Curtis’s car is blown up with a bomb. When baby Raine is kidnapped, they become desperate to find her and the truth.

I enjoyed reading this novel.  The plot held my attention with its twists and turns, and the characters were very believable.   Amy and Curtis struggle with many issues that are common to this world.  I especially enjoyed Edith.  What a great character!!  I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good suspense novel!

I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
