Book Review, “Firsthand,” Ryan and Josh Shook authors

firsthand coverFIRSTHAND, by Ryan and Josh Shook, is a wonderful book about the need to know God firsthand, not ride the coattails of everyone else.  It is not enough to understand what a relationship with Christ is like by observing others around you.  It is important to experience it for yourself, firsthand.  The Shooks have written an incredible book about this that is easy to read and relate to.  I especially enjoyed the personal stories and examples. The book also includes a section in each chapter called “Making it Real,” which includes quotes from everyday people, questions on how to understand the chapter, and steps that might help put the ideas from the chapter into practice.

I enjoyed this book very much and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about having a personal relationship with Christ.

I received this book free from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review.
