Book Review, “Not This Time,” Vicki Hinze author

Not This Time, the third book in the Crossroads Crisis Center series by Vicki Hinze, is an excellent book.  It was filled with suspense, kept the reader’s attention to the very end, and was filled with plot twists.  I had not read the first two books in the series, but this story stands alone very well.

Beth Dawson is highly suspicious of her best friend and business partner’s husband.  When a whole group of her friends endures a chemical attack at a wedding and Sara’s husband is kidnapped, Beth becomes a suspect.  While she tries to be strong for Sara, a whole scenario of twists and turns happen to keep the reader’s full attention. Beth turns to her friend, Joe, for help and support.  Her friend, Nora, also is suddenly missing.  Those Beth thought were friends are apparently not as friendly as she once thought, but seeds of faith that Beth plants in one of them begin to grow and make a huge difference in the outcome of the situation.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and may even go back and read the first two in the series!  I would certainly recommend it to anyone who loves a good romantic suspense novel.
