Book Review, “Max On Life,” Max Lucado Author

Max On Life, written by Max Lucado, is a book intended to answer the many questions the people, Christians and non-Christians, tend to ask themselves.

Max, through his previous books, has demonstrated an immense command of Biblical teaching as well as the ability to apply it to the Christian life.  Because of this, he has received thousands of questions over the years from people who have been struggling to understand what the Bible has to say about certain topics.

The book includes some incredibly difficult questions, such as:  Why do I worry so much?  What will we be doing in heaven?  What is the big deal about pornography?  Am I really forgiven if my conscience says I’m not?  Is God willing to use anyone to change the world, and does Hell last forever?  There is a total of 172 questions.

Although not all of the questions Max addresses in this book will apply to each reader, many of the topics will hit home.  The answers included help to clarify one’s understanding of each and every issue.

As usual, Max Lucado’s writing style is incredible.  He communicates the meaning of the scriptures in a way that helps each reader to comprehend their truths.  Needless to say, this book is a must read by anyone with tough questions about the Bible.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from  the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
